9. Part of improving your self image and embracing your body is being proud and showing yourself off. Learn which styles flatter your best features - remember, finding the right clothes is never about the size, it's about measurements and cut.

10. Ensure you are wearing the right size bra, so that you get excellent support and an impressive flattering shape.

11. Stick to smooth bras for wearing under fitted or sheer tops as these are best for not showing through these coloured tops.

12. Wear streamline or fitted shapes - more flattering than baggy clothes. Choose tops with seams or darts under the bust - these will define your waist and make you look slimmer.

13. Stretch fabrics like knits and cotton Lycra are great if you want to emphasise your shape, but remember to wear a plain or smooth bra underneath tighter tops.

14. It is important to choose round, scooped and V-necklines as they tend to be more flattering for bigger boobs than high necklines.

Lingerie, At First Only For The Rich.

Lingerie-- the word suggests lacy, titillating garments. But lingerie came from humble origins. The term "lingerie" is from the French linge, or linen alluding to the cloth from which underwear was by tradition made. By the end of the nineteenth century, lingerie had become a common term to describe underwear that had moved beyond sensible functions to be used as a device of for the exhibit of the female body. Lingerie was initially made for every size- including plus sizes.Lingerie was supposed to only be used by women within the confines of a blissfully married life in the early years; with strict controls. One female journalist penned in 1902, "Lovely lingerie does not belong only to the fast. . . . dainty undergarments are not necessarily a sign of depravity." As time passed, lingerie's attractiveness to the general population increased along with decreasing adherence to Victorian morality, and the increasing social status of women. Lingerie was freedom from the practical and flagrantly straitlaced undergarments advocated by the Victorian era. For example, a doctor of that time period recommended wool as the perfect underwear for sanitation and wellbeing. At first, lingerie was a sign of social status, handmade and afforded only by the very few. Of note were those fashioned by the English couturiere known as Lucile (Lady Duff-Gordon), who created camisoles, peignoirs, and petticoats using lace, chiffon, and crepe de chine, deliberately appealing to the sense of touch, and evoking a new eroticism for the twentieth-century woman. Although synthetic fibers such as rayon and nylon were developed and sold in the 1920s and 1930s as luxury fabrics through the use of the name "artificial silk" their development led to a democratization of lingerie.WIKIPEDIA SAYS-Rayon is a very versatile fiber and has the same comfort properties as natural fibers. It can imitate the feel and texture of silk, wool, cotton and linen. The fibers are easily dyed in a wide range of colors. Rayon fabrics are soft, smooth, cool, comfortable, and highly absorbent, but they do not insulate body heat, making them ideal for use in hot and humid climates. The more body-conscious fashions of that decade also led to a new item of lingerie, the teddy, named after its inventor Theodore Baer, who combined a chemise with a short slip or attached panties. The camisole, originally derived from a decorative waist-length garment with an embroidered front and shoulder bands that were worn over the corset for warmth and modesty, became a essential piece of lingerie, later transforming into an item of outerwear by the 1970s. Similarly the slip, a standard piece of lingerie from the 1950s was used by a number of fashion designers as outerwear in the 1990s, most notably John Galliano, Dolce & Gabbana.Pajamas, based on the loose pants worn in parts of Asia, entered women's wardrobes in the late nineteenth century, but long nightdresses remained popular, even after women's skirts shortened in the early twentieth century. By the1920s, straight-cut silk and rayon nightclothes in subtle colors such as orchid, teal and plum were popular, while the mid-century favored gowns with bosom-hugging bodices above sinuous skirts. Mixtures and superimpositions make lingerie an item of clothing in itself, so that hybrid costumes like chemise jackets and pants-skirts make up an unexpected wardrobe. During the twentieth century, alluring and luxurious lingerie grew ever more accessible and affordable.Today there is a continuation of the lingerie revival started in the 1990s, attracting both male and female consumers. Lingerie's cachet as an erotic, ardently visible component of a woman's outfit has contributed to rising sales. It seems that showing off your lingerie has become very much become a fashion trend. Today redefined lingerie is an affordable luxury item with a strong appeal for the fashion-oriented plus size consumer.

One of many issues for this is to ensure we really don't feel as if we're being stared with, criticized, or perhaps made fun of because we're bigger than other people in the store. The best way all of us do not feel like we are being monitored is when we are in a plus size clothing store created specially for plus size women; though, many of us do not own the deluxe of having a store similar to this within commuting distance. That is why, we’d preferably make an online purchase.

What about bras you may ask? Bras generally have to be considered to ensure they fit in appropriately; although, if we are appropriately tested and come with a measuring chart in front of us, there is no reason at all that we simply cannot stay at home and make an online purchase for our plus size bras.

Know Your Measurements

Make sure that you are aware of your measurements. I do not like spending some time looking for an excellent bra, lastly finding it after which finding out that it doesn’t fit in accurately because I messed up on my measurements. Don’t end up like that! Simply just get measured by a specialist or perform it yourself and have the measurements in head of you prior to shopping on the web. If you do it by yourself, make sure to purchase a soft tape measure so it will pass readily close to your body.

Comfort is Almost everything

You will probably need to know the kind of garment and element which may be the most comfortable that you can wear preceding to shopping over the internet. The purpose for this is exactly that you simply can’t try out the bra on for you to notice how comfortable it is so you’ll need to realize the kind of cloth that feels the ideal when you are wearing it.

Versatility of Purchasing Online

Buying online provides you convenience. If you want to go shopping at 3am in the early morning you'll be able to do so. It's not necessary to hang about until the store goes into business or try out to make it prior to the stores closes to begin your buying experience. Shopping online gives you the versatility to buy in any type of clothes (or simply none at all!) and anytime during the day.

No More Blushing

In addition, shopping on the web helps reduce the discomfort that you may feel if you were to go store shopping locally. You will not have someone looking at you, whispering about you, or anything of the kind. No person will likely understand that you're searching for bras!

Wider Selection Online

There's a bigger selection of bras to select from on the web. It’s the same as anything else – it’s available all over the place. You just type in “plus size bras” in the Yahoo and google search area and it'll deliver many upon millions of results.

Internet shopping for your plus size bras is significantly less inconvenience, simply less complicated, and you've got a much bigger selection to opt from without being embarrassed by others around you. Seven Things Not To Do When Creating a New Years Resolution

One in four people will not make it a week with their New Year’s resolution. Here are seven things not to do when creating a New Year’s resolution that will help you go the distance:

1. Don’t keep it to yourself.

“I don’t want my friends to know I am trying to quit my bad habit.” Let others know! This gives you leverage and allows others to encourage you along your journey.

2. Don’t leave it in your head.

“I don’t need to write it down, I know what I want to do.” Research has shown that those who write down their goals and track them have an increased chance of success.

3. Don’t be vague.

“I’m going to lose weight”. How much? At what rate? By when? Make your goals SMART- specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely and time bound.

4. Don’t be inflexible.

“I’m not going to ever do that again” Not all goals happen with the flip of a switch. Sometimes you need to wean yourself off of a bad habit. Sometimes you will backslide or slip up. It’s part of life. Get used to it and get used to being more successful for the long haul by recognizing that people try and try again at their goals before they reach them. Some reports suggest an average of 14 times. Persistence not perfectionism pays.

5. Don’t be unrealistic or harsh.

“I’m not going to eat any sweets.” “I will exercise 2 hours everyday.” It is not always realistic to deny yourself. Life is meant to be celebrated. Think moderation and think about small incremental steps that will advance you toward your goal. It is better to be doing a smaller action for the long term than a larger goal that doesn’t have a chance of lasting a week.

6. Don’t take on too much at once.

“I’m going to quit smoking, join a gym, meditate 10 minutes every day, lose 20 lbs, and spend more time with my kids.” This is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Focus on a couple of things and the activities that will take you towards your goals.

7. Don’t take the first step TODAY.

“I’ll start next week…” There always seems to be a better time than right now. You may think you need to wait until after a special date or occasion, or once the holidays are over or start on a Monday...the list goes on. The truth is now is always a good time. Start by visualizing where you want to be and eliminating negative self-talk that will keep you from reaching your goals.
